Case Manager for Children and Young People
Barbara joined ACM in 2009 as a Case Manager for Children and Young People. Her role includes supporting families to establish care teams and independent therapy teams, and to identify suitable housing and undertake significant adaptation work.
Barbara qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1980, having previously worked as a residential Social Worker with children with physical disabilities. During her career she has worked within the charitable, statutory and independent sectors, and also led a team of Community Occupational Therapists working with children with a wide range of special needs and complex disabilities.
In 2002 Barbara was awarded a Masters of Studies degree in Health and Social Care from Cambridge University.
Barbara is a member of BABICM at Practitioner Level.
