Case Manager for Children and Young People
Judith joined ACM in 2008 as a Case Manager for Children and Young People, and has over 15 years experience in working with children and adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Judith currently manages a case load of children and young people who have either suffered a traumatic brain injury or cerebral palsy, caused by medical negligence at birth. She supports the families by thoroughly assessing the child’s needs and then implementing appropriate support packages. She also coordinates independent therapists, statutory therapists and education, and ensures that the child and family have the appropriate accommodation and equipment. Judith also supports clients through the litigation process.
Having qualified as a Registered Nurse in April 1994, Judith was a Community Nurse with the Disabled Children’s team in Manchester prior to joining ACM
Judith is a member of BABICM at Advanced Level.
