Registered Manager
Linda started her career in Social Work in the early 1980’s, working with children with learning and behavioural difficulties. She subsequently worked as a Hospital Social Worker, as a Child Protection Worker, and has also been responsible for a duty team and its workload.
In 2001 Linda managed a residential service, and from there moved into a training and consultancy role in the wider social care sector.
Linda joined ACM in 2006 and took over the role of Registered Manager soon after. As the Registered Manager, Linda takes lead responsibility for maintaining ACM’s “Excellent” 3 * rating with the CQC; ensuring good employment practices; working with Case Managers to develop and manage complex care packages; providing cover to support workers at times of Case Manager absence; devising, delivering and sourcing support worker training; and managing the on-going qualification programme for support workers.
To further develop her skills Linda is currently undertaking a 2-year postgraduate course in Human Resource Management (part time).
