Stephen joined Anglia Case Management in 2011 as a Case Manager for Adults, and is an experienced Social Worker, having qualified in 2003.   Stephen has specialised in working with people with physical and mental health disabilities.

 

Prior to joining Anglia Case Management, Stephen was employed by Norfolk County Council, where he worked in an Adult Community Care Team undertaking community care, mental capacity and risk assessments, as well as interviewing and completing social circumstance reports for adults who were detained under the Mental Health Act.

 

Stephen was also employed by a community hospital which specialised in neurological conditions, and worked with people who had complex needs as a result of brain injury.  His role within the hospital involved working in partnership with health colleagues, solicitors and voluntary sector agencies to enable people to maintain their independence at home.

 

Having dealt with many complex situations, Stephen is able to identify, source and implement support packages.

 

Stephen is registered as a Social Worker with the General Social Care Council, and has gained several post qualifying awards; he is also a member of BABICM at Practitioner level.
