How is case management funded?
Most of our clients are funded via a personal injury litigation claim. As we are frequently appointed prior to settlement, the claimant’s solicitor can usually obtain an interim payment for services such as case management and rehabilitation, and to deal with additional care or specialist equipment.
Sometimes a health authority or local social services is prepared to fund specialist brain injury case management services, but this is still relatively rare and only in particular circumstances. Funds for case management are not normally provided by private health insurance.
