Brain Injury Case Manager

Victoria joined ACM in January 2009 as a Case Manager working with adult clients.

Victoria qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Derby in 2002, and since then has worked in a variety of settings, gaining a broad experience base with a range of client groups. In recent years, she has specialised in the treatment of patients with neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury, both within in the acute setting and in the community.

Prior to joining ACM, Victoria was working within the community as a Senior Neuro Occupational Therapist for Suffolk PCT. This role involved the management of clients with complex neurological conditions, including MS, Parkinson’s Disease, Strokes and Motor Neurone Disease.

Victoria’s career commenced as an Occupational Therapist at Addenbrookes NHS Trust, where she gained invaluable experience working across a range of services, including hand therapy, rheumatology and within a health and social care team. She has experience in working closely with a range of professionals and in multidisciplinary teams. She has also worked at Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust as a Senior Occupational Therapist, where she focused on in-patient stroke rehabilitation, wheelchair assessment and the provision of neuro rehabilitation within the community, where she developed a special interest in brain injury.

Victoria holds memberships with BAOT and the Health Professions Council, as well as BABICM at Practitioner level.
