Occupational Therapist

Wendy obtained her Occupational Therapy qualification in 2004 and has since worked in community and hospital settings with a variety of client groups with physical and neurological deficits.

She joined Anglia Case Management in 2008 working as an Occupational Therapist within the Community Rehabilitation Service. Her role involves assessing clients in the community and delivering bespoke rehabilitation programmes with a Rehabilitation Assistant. Intervention varies according to need, but can include activities of daily living, cognitive rehabilitation, behavioural programmes and assistance with return to work or other vocational activity.

Prior to joining Anglia Case Management, Wendy worked as a Senior Occupational Therapist as part of an Intermediate Care Team supporting clients with rehabilitation in their own homes and providing residential rehabilitation for those clients preparing to return home.

She has also worked at Addenbrooke’s NHS Trust completing a variety of rotations within the fields of elderly medicine, stroke rehabilitation, neurosciences, neuro-oncology, orthopaedics, surgery (including amputees) and hand therapy.

Wendy is a member of the Specialist Section of Neurological Practice. She is registered with the Health Professionals Council and maintains an up-to-date membership of the professional body for Occupational Therapy staff in the UK, the British Association of Occupational Therapists. She has undergone a Criminal Records Bureau check.
