Neuro Occupational Therapist, Manager Community Rehabilitation Service.
Having qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1995 from the University College of Ripon & York St John, Pam’s experience includes the assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with neurological conditions, stroke, acquired brain injury, back pain, complex medical and orthopaedic conditions and the elderly.
Pam joined ACM in 2007 and works with a wide range of adult clients. Her role involves assessing clients in the community and delivering bespoke rehabilitation programmes, which are supported by an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Intervention varies according to the individual’s need, but can include activities of daily living, cognitive rehabilitation, upper limb rehabilitation, anger management programmes, and assistance with return to work or other vocational activity.
Pam is an Interactive Metronome® certified provider. She is able to use this tool to deliver assessment and treatment programs for clients with neurological deficits that affect motor and cognitive functioning.
Pam leads the Community Rehabilitation Service, and is a member of Occupational Therapists in Private Practice and the College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section: Neurological Practice.
