Having qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2004, Wendy has worked in community and hospital settings with a variety of client groups with physical and neurological deficits.
Wendy joined ACM in 2008 working as a Neuro Occupational Therapist within the Community Rehabilitation Service; her role involves assessing clients in the community and delivering bespoke rehabilitation programmes. Intervention varies according to need, but can include activities of daily living, cognitive rehabilitation, behavioural programmes and assistance with return to work or other vocational activity.
In addition to her hands-on role as a Neuro Occupational Therapist, Wendy is available to provide Expert Witness reports for litigation purposes, on the rehabilitation needs of adults following traumatic brain injury and other complex neurological conditions.
Wendy is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section: Neurological Practice.
