Virginia Bowley is an experienced nurse by background, most recently working as a Case Manager for adults and children with complex needs, including traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputation and visual impairment.
Prior to joining Anglia Case Management Virginia previously worked with two other reputable case management providers over the last ten years. She has extensive experience of developing and managing bespoke care packages for her clients. As a Case Manager she works with clients and their families to identify the injured person’s ongoing rehabilitation needs, and then sourcing appropriate rehabilitation in the community. This has involved working with other health and rehabilitation professionals, to provide a client-centred and goal-orientated approach for each individual.
Virginia has a comprehensive understanding of the personal injury litigation process, having been involved in a clinical capacity with many of her case management clients who are pursuing compensation. She is also used to working with Professional Deputies regarding funding issues.
In addition to her work as a Case Manager, Virginia has recently updated her clinical nursing skills, working on a part time basis in a pioneering rehabilitation unit. This has helped her to keep abreast of new developments in early stage rehabilitation and inform her case management practice.
In addition to case management provision, Virginia is available to provide Expert Witness reports for litigation purposes, on the care, case management, and rehabilitation needs of adults following traumatic brain injury and other complex neurological conditions.
Virginia is also a qualified and accredited counsellor with 13 years of experience and is able to use her core skills as a counsellor to further enhance her case management practice.
Virginia is a member of BABICM at Advanced Registered Practitioner level.
