Zoe, a nurse by profession, joins Anglia Case Management with over 15 years’ experience of working with children and young people with complex needs, and their families. Her knowledge and expertise have been developed from working in hospitals, educational settings and most recently as Deputy Service Manager for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. Zoe has supported children and young people with complex neurological and life limiting conditions.
Zoe has held a variety of roles relating to children with complex health needs during her career. In her most recent position, Zoe had significant responsibility including the line management of the multidisciplinary team, allocation and coordination of care packages, adhering to Care Quality Commission guidelines, management of referrals and a clinical case load, providing her with a wealth of valuable experience and skills to transfer into her role as a Case Manager. Zoe was also a Safeguarding Supervisor, providing support to families and colleagues at additionally challenging times.
During Zoe’s time at Great Ormond Street Hospital she worked closely with interpreters on their international ward, for children with neurological and oncology conditions. Whilst working for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice, Zoe organised short breaks for children and their families and co-ordinated the children’s care packages.
Zoe’s case management role at ACM is to provide bespoke case management input for children with brain injuries, spinal injuries and other complex disabilities, who require care, support and rehabilitation. She works with clients both pre and post settlement of personal injury and medical negligence awards. Zoe is involved in all aspects of the case management role, and has experience in the coordination of services and professionals as well as staff recruitment and line management.
