Clinical Team Lead, Senior Case Manager
Since qualifying as a Registered General Nurse in 1985, I have predominantly worked in the field of brain and spinal injury, having been inspired to do so during my nurse training. I have worked in very senior roles both in acute hospital and community settings, so in some small way, have knowledge and understanding of the journey individuals with brain and spinal injury go on.
My extensive clinical experience informs my practice as a Case Manager for clients with very complex physical and behavioural disabilities. Their achievements, as well as supporting them during inevitable low points, are what continue to make me feel that the work of the Case Manager is a privilege.
I love working for ACM, not only because of the enormous job satisfaction working with my clients gives me, but also in my senior role, I am able to support and develop colleagues in their practice.
