Clinical Director, Senior Case Manager

I qualified as a Social Worker in 1999 after working in direct care and managerial roles within residential care settings with adults with complex needs and/or learning difficulties.  I worked across adults and children’s services before specialising in child protection and then moving on to service development across the social services directorate at Cambridgeshire County Council.

My passion is enabling all people, no matter what their level of ability, to have a voice and I have a keen personal interest and extensive knowledge of eye gaze/AAC communication.

As Clinical Director, I really enjoy getting a new enquiry for our services and liaising with a person’s key representatives to engage the most appropriate person from our team of highly skilled staff and then weeks, maybe months later, hearing about often small, but oh so significant changes in someone’s life and what a positive impact case management is having on a client and their family.   Every new enquiry is an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life, something I will never tire of.
